Recycling

Jurgens Contractors follow a strict recycling policy. The different types of materials are separated on site to ensure the very minimum amount of material is taken to a landfill.

Timber and fittings are saved and sold through our Salvage Yard located at 79 Maria Place, Wanganui. Steel is processed and either on-sold or recycled.

We have a modern concrete crushing plant that processes demolition concrete into a usable base material and recovers the steel reinforcing. This product has been used for farm tracks and land reclamation with excellent success.
